As part of learning we participated in the “Gender Equity” Training conducted by Unbound at Hyderabad. Three staff members from Bhagalpur project took part in it. The three day training was very much educative and we benefited a lot. Going forward, the project will require implementing Gender Equity throughout the sponsored communities.

We also went to Delhi for inter project learning. A group of 10 staff members visited Delhi. The interaction with the sponsored communities gave us a glimpse of IGAs the families are involved. It was a huge learning experience as the sponsored communities shared with us their success of livelihoods.  We were encouraged to see the empowerment of the women shouldering responsibilities.
