(FOUNDERS DAY MEMORIAL SPORT)

Late Bob Hentzen, co-founder of Unbound, taught us how to walk alongside families striving to overcome poverty. The co-founder Bob while he was alive traveled to many countries, walked thousands of miles, and met sea of hard-working families struggling heroically to make better lives for their children. The founding vision of Unbound was to empower families and connect the world with their struggles.

To commemorate Bob's death anniversary CFCA has organized football tournament for two days from 7th to 8th of October 2018 at three places namely Siktia in Godda District, Dumaria in Banka District, and Giridih in Giridih District. The selected youth from all subprojects participated in this event. At the end of the event all the participants were given medals and certificates. The winners were honored with trophies.

Bob Hentzen always believed in the potentials of the poor. His mission was, “to nurture the young talents to fight poverty”. The football tournament was a great opportunity for the young sponsored students to display the budding talents.

The teams were provided with medals, trophies, and participation certificates. The event witnessed immense joy and fun.  The involvement of staffs, students, and families made the event even more memorable and enjoyable.

The founder's commitment demonstrated by his passionate and dedicated example, continues to inspire us today.
